One Month Old

Well a lot has happened at one month. I went back to work and we are now doing overtime so my time at home is fairly limited. I try most days to go in early to get my hours so I can get home quicker to be with my girls. Camryn is doing great, and growing like a weed. We go on April 2nd to get her first set of shots and see just how much she has grown. She has slept at least 4 hrs from the time she came home. Now shes sleeping through the night, or at least the night to me but Im up at 5:30 every morning. The only downfall, if you can call it that, is Cami is my baby that wants to be held 24/7. Nolyn has done better then I would of ever thought she would do. She seems to really love Camryn, or she just thinks Cami is a really big baby doll. Im kinda bad this time around getting pictures of the girls but that also has to do with my limited time with them. But I will leave you all with the few pictures I do have.

First 2 Weeks

Well its been almost 2 weeks since Camryn was born, and things are going good. The first week got off to a little of a rough start, but things are getting to normal. It's a little hard to try and take care of 15 month old when you cant pick her up, or should I say not suppose to pick her up. I feel some days like Im never going to heal. But with all this going on we have done a lot in these 2 weeks. The Saturday after Camryn was born we went to her 1st well baby. She was 7 lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long. The Dr was a little worried about her jaundice level and sent us to the hospital to take blood to check her levels. Results came back she was fine. We also went to see my Grandparents that Saturday. Then Sunday we went to church. Yes, I guess you can say we are on the road a lot. This last Saturday I took the girls and got pictures done. They turned out really good. I go back to work in 2 weeks, yes Im going back at 4 weeks, cant afford to take off more work then that. Ok, Im going to end this with the pictures we took Saturday.

She's Here

Camryn Grace Stogdill joined us Jan. 27, 2010 at 2:11pm. She was 7 lbs 15 oz (would of been 8 lbs, but tinkled right before being put on the scale) and was 19.25 inches long. Nolyn is doing good with the adjustment. She's starting to hug Camryn, and starting to say BABY when talking to about Camryn. Here are a few pictures of Camryn.

Will post more later of the girl, just have to get more pictures on the computer.

Christmas 2009

Well this Christmas was very different from last years. Last year Nolyn was only 7 weeks old so it wasn't as much fun. She enjoyed this year much more. Here are some pictures from this year taken with the new camera I got from Grant.

Snow Christmas Eve at my parents. This picture was taken before it got real bad.

Even with all the snow and ice we made it home just in time for Santa to come
All the Santa gifts.

It was his when he was little and had it redone with Minnie and Nolyn's name.

Thanksgiving 2009

Well this Thanksgiving Grant and I did something we've never done before with or without a child. We made the 7-8 hour trip to Nebraska. This was Grant's first time ever there. He seemed to have a good time. My parents took Nolyn up with them since they were leaving before we were and we left after work and drove through the night. So we left around 5:30 Wednesday night and got there about 2-2:30ish Thursday morning. Grant caught up on his movie watching while I drove. He watched, I listened to, GI Joe, Angels and Demons (he had to keep pausing this one and explaining to me what was going on since I never read the book), Transformers 2, Bedtime Stories (This was the only one I actually got to watch), X-Men: Wolverine, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. On the way home we actually had Nolyn. The drive went really well actually. While we were up there we watched a lot of football, played cards and just hung out. On Friday I took Grant to town and showed him a few places, this took all of about 10 mins, that just how small the town is. I showed him the park, the high school and the hospital where I was born. On saturday we started the morning with going to get professional family pictures done. This was for my Grandparents 55th wedding anniversery. My mom had us go ahead and get a family picture done of just the 7 of us because that will be the last time it will just be the 7. After all that we went to Red Cloud and had the Delka Family Thanksgiving. It was good to see everyone since this was the first time in 10 years I've been there for Thanksgiving. Here is a picture from the family Thanksgiving, my family is the ones in red. And let it be known that a lot of the family isnt there so this picture doesnt really do justice to how big the family really is.

The First of Many to Come

Well this was Nolyn's first Halloween. And if you know anything about her you know what she went as... a ladybug. We took her to our Church for Trick or Trunk. She did so good, holding Daddys hand and walking up to the trunks holding out for candy bag. I dont have any pictures from Halloween night but I do have this one of her in her costume.

Also yesterday evening we had Nolyn's birthday party. Her birthday isnt till the 5th but the Saturday after her birthday my Mom was going to be gone on her 3 day walk for Breast Cancer so we couldnt do it then. It was great got lots of toys we dont have room for but it will be ok. Or little girl partied so hard she was passed out by 9:30, but the downside was she was up at 6:30 this morning. But I blame that on daylights savings time. Here are a couple of her 1 yr pictures we had done last weekend. My goodness where did the year go?

Pumpkin Patch and More

Saturday my best friend and I took the kids to the pumpkin patch. I just wanted to go for the pictures since this is Nolyn's first Halloween. Poor girl missed Halloween by 5 days. Since she still is a little young to carve pumpkins we of course didn't get any, but I did get some cute pictures which I will share.

Last Monday I went to the specialist. We didn't get to do the Echo because the way she was laying and no matter what she wasn't going to move. Stubborn child, I wonder where she gets that from? But they did get to check the heart and do measurements. Everything looked good, they guessed her a little ahead of schedule and the Dr did see a SMALL hole in the heart where mine was but its VERY tiny ,this isn't uncommon, and should close up on its own. My heart condition isn't hereditary there is only a 2% chance I would have kids that had it as well. But on the other hand girls are 5 times more likely to have it then boys. So no more going to the specialist, YAY!

Ok here are the pictures I promised.
