Family Pictures

A little while back we had some family pictures done. I was so excited to get them done because its the first set of pictures done since becoming a family of 4. Nolyn was in a bad mood almost the whole time but we did get 1 picture of the 4 of us, and hey thats all we really need right? Cami was a champ, mainly because she was held, and held be me. Here are the pictures from the day.

Nolyn goes to the Fair & Rodeo

My parents took Nolyn to the North Texas Fair and Rodeo Saturday night, and for what I could tell she enjoyed herself. Nolyn loves animals so watching all the horses and cows are right up her alley. Since Grant and I didnt go because we stayed home with Camryn, my cousin took pictures. Here they are to enjoy.

Summer Fun

Summer is the time for swimsuits, and playing in the water. Now after two kids I'm not sure you will see me in one, so I must be talking about my girls. My sister Kaila got both girls "bikinis" this year. Most nights when Grant and I get home and after dinner we let Nolyn play outside, burn off some of that energy I wish I could bottle and use myself. A lot of the time its taking the girls to the pond and feeding the fish, but lately its been putting on the swimwuit and playing in the pool Mimi (my mom) got her. So since the girls are so cute in their suits I thought I would share with everyone some pictures. Enjoy.

3 Months & 18 Months

Ok, its been a while since I updated so I thought during lunch would be a good time. The girls are doing great. Its hard for Grant and I to believe they are almost 4 & 19 months now. I'll first start with whats going on with Grant and I. Grant has gone back to teaching. He finished the year as a long term sub, but will start back full time in the fall. We are so happy about this. This also means that in the fall we will be moving closer to Denton, so we will be closer to where each of us work...YAY!

Nolyn is coming into her own now, and my I say she is one very smart little girl. She knows her animals and what they say and were now working on letters and colors. She's actually putting words together to make sentences. She also knows her body parts (head, nose, eyes, teeth, etc)This girl also doesn't ever slow down, its always go, go, go with her, but that's ok, she wants to take everything in and never wants to miss a thing.

Camryn is doing great. She's starting to show interest in sitting on her own. Anytime she is in her car seat shes always trying to lift her back out of it. Its unbelievable how strong she is. She's already trying to army crawl and she's not even rolling over (well she has rolled over, just doesn't do it continuous). She has found her hands and her voice. She giggles a lot and smiling more and more. She's such an easy, happy baby.

Yesterday while we were at Church my parents built the girls a swingset. This is great because our new favorate thing to do when we get home from work is to sit on the backporch and watch Nolyn play in the yard. I got to snap a couple of pictures of the girls in the swing, they both seemed to enjoy it. Actually Nolyn came over while Cami was in the swing and started pushing her, Cami seemed to enjoy it she just giggled.

Happy Easter

Wow, what a great Easter. After church and lunch we went home to put the girls down for a nap. After the nap we took the girls over to my parents for a little bit. Nolyn hunted eggs, again. I think that made 4 egg hunts. She also went for her first ride in the wagon my parents got her. Here are some pictures from that day.

1st Easter Egg Hunt

On Sunday our church did their annual Easter Egg hunt. This was Nolyn's first time and let me tell you she can hunt some Easter eggs. Grant and I had a good feeling she was going to do good because Nolyn is a gatherer. Some of her favorate things to do is gather up all her books and continue to move them from one place to another one at a time. She did so good and we were so proud of her. We also got a good family picture, and this time it didnt take 5 months. Grant had the camera while I videoed the egg hunt so that explains why I have no pictures of the hunt itself, but we got some after it was all done. Enjoy.

St Patty's Day

Wednesday was St Pattys day, and what kind of mother would I be if I didnt dress my girls is green? So her they are my little green beauties.

One Month Old

Well a lot has happened at one month. I went back to work and we are now doing overtime so my time at home is fairly limited. I try most days to go in early to get my hours so I can get home quicker to be with my girls. Camryn is doing great, and growing like a weed. We go on April 2nd to get her first set of shots and see just how much she has grown. She has slept at least 4 hrs from the time she came home. Now shes sleeping through the night, or at least the night to me but Im up at 5:30 every morning. The only downfall, if you can call it that, is Cami is my baby that wants to be held 24/7. Nolyn has done better then I would of ever thought she would do. She seems to really love Camryn, or she just thinks Cami is a really big baby doll. Im kinda bad this time around getting pictures of the girls but that also has to do with my limited time with them. But I will leave you all with the few pictures I do have.

First 2 Weeks

Well its been almost 2 weeks since Camryn was born, and things are going good. The first week got off to a little of a rough start, but things are getting to normal. It's a little hard to try and take care of 15 month old when you cant pick her up, or should I say not suppose to pick her up. I feel some days like Im never going to heal. But with all this going on we have done a lot in these 2 weeks. The Saturday after Camryn was born we went to her 1st well baby. She was 7 lbs 10 oz and 20 inches long. The Dr was a little worried about her jaundice level and sent us to the hospital to take blood to check her levels. Results came back she was fine. We also went to see my Grandparents that Saturday. Then Sunday we went to church. Yes, I guess you can say we are on the road a lot. This last Saturday I took the girls and got pictures done. They turned out really good. I go back to work in 2 weeks, yes Im going back at 4 weeks, cant afford to take off more work then that. Ok, Im going to end this with the pictures we took Saturday.
